ARTS EDUCATOR & LEADER

 

In 2016, I was selected as a Cultural Policy Fellow for the City of West Hollywood. Sponsored by Arts for LA's ACTIVATE Arts Leadership Program, I worked with the City's Arts Division to develop and implement a Cultural Arts Plan that, as of 2020, will serve the community for the next two to six years. Specifically, I aimed to address the urgent needs of artists in WeHo, advocating for cultural equity through the development of a multifunctional and collaborative rehearsal, studio, and performance space within the City's boundaries. I engaged and consulted with City arts officials, planners, and community members alike in the greater effort to establish this vital resource in West Hollywood. My intention is to continue serving as an advocate for an arts center that will serve the spectrum of creative expression in The Creative City.
